My first memories of writing code was on a Texas Instruments TI99. My brother-in-law was working at IBM at the time and taught me how to make pixel figures of Star Wars character walk across the screen (AT-AT for all you geeks).For years I worked as a professional musician, but never lost the desire to write code. In the late 90's I build websites for my band and the company I worked for at the time. Fast forward to the 2000's I joined DDM as a front end engineer. Always wanting to expand my horizons I studied iOS development and was moved to the mobile development team and also delved more into back end development with Ruby on rails.Recently I've worked with Vianet Management. Here I've been able to use everything I've learned in the past and have been encouraged to keep and eye on emerging tech. I've always wanted to be able to create every aspect of web and mobile development. Even when I'm done with work I still find myself play with different technologies just to see how viable they might be.I love code it's like a painting to me. I love looking at it and writing it. I love it when it works perfectly. I love writing test! I love knowing thousand of other people are using it to enrich their life of benefit their company.My personal goal is to create tech whereas I can funnel the profits to help fight poverty, abuse and neglect.
