Professionally, I'm a seasoned leader and strategist. With 8+ years of social media experience and channel management, I’ve been able to help create, implement, optimize, and centralize social media strategies for major companies and brands. I read into the algorithms of vertical video platforms and look for the everchanging formula of what makes a video successful. I thrive on building relationships with great people who love what they do. I've also built an internship program to give students an exciting and rewarding experience. Mentorship is extremely important to me, and it's something I wish I had when I was an undergrad, so now I've helped many students find their career path and gave them the guidance they needed. Personally, I'm a lifelong learner and like most, have a never ending journey. I have jumped into multiple roles and pursuits in my life. I host my own Podcast called, "So This Just Happened", I've competed in an International Pageant and was in the Top 10 Finalist with three awards, one being Miss Congeniality, and growing up I've always wanted to become an actor. I've even got to sit next to Ellen DeGeneres on her show as an interpreter for a singer with a dual voice who won Philippines Got Talent. Another passion of mine that people seem to follow me for, is my food adventures. I love to cook, but more importantly to eat, and that is why I've always branded myself with the hashtag, #KristenIsEating...it's in present tense, because I'm usually always eating and you can count on me to have a snack in my bag at all times. I'm always learning something new and if I'm not, I'm just getting better at doing that thing. On my Instagram, you'll catch me doing something different, whether it's trying out bullet journaling, drawing minimalist portraits, practicing my hula/tahitian dance, trying out new teas, or simply sharing a cause I care about. Most recently, I've covered red carpet interviews for movies and shows like Creed III, John Wick 4 (yes, I got to interview Michael B Jordan & Keanu Reeves and we made really good eye contact!), The Mandalorian and Yellow Jackets. I've shot, interviewed, and edited it as it was published on BuzzFeed Now's TikTok. I have a big imagination and I'm overly excited about the execution of things. I guarantee you, if you had to ask anyone how I am, they will tell you that I'm a happy person with big dreams.
