Gathering knowledge & experience in a variety of techniques as well as management whilst keeping the passion for a living planet, this is the journey that is leading me to one goal: Preserve the environment for our children, yours and mine.Born in Belgium, I obtained my Master Degree in Industrial Sciences in Ghent.Although the discipline was electricity, my curiosity made me quickly evolve in the late 90s towards the emerging world of automation and applied information technologies. This allowed me to collect experience with various machinery and production techniques in various countries. In this quality, I was asked in 2000 to move to France as a permanent base for a Belgian automation company.Under different titles, I accompanied between 2002 and 2007 a couple of food conditioning workshops to fully automated production plants with total traceability and asset data collection. In 2007, I decided to quit automation as well as food and beverages to focus on my real passion: environmental technologies. For more than 7 years, I was a Project Manager at EUROPLASMA (Bordeaux - France) in charge of the plasma furnace projects. From the initial design, all the way through to the project delivery, I added some major breakthroughs to their reference list. Meanwhile, I helped our subsidiary CHO-Power with the engineering & design of their waste to energy gasification technologies. Back in my homeland Belgium, I shared my skills to make the Xylowatt NOTAR® gasifier a reliable energy generator using wood instead of fossil fuels. My impatient nature found the gasifier business not explosive (ugh) enough so now I’m a PM under the wings of DD-Engineering where I can jump from project to project to help more than one company at the same time to attain their goals.
