• Managed legislative policy agenda for Rep. Jeanné Kapela (2020-current) and Rep. Amy Perruso (2018-2020), including initiatives to increase funding for public education, expand access to clean energy, raise the minimum wage, establish paid sick and family leave, combat climate change, institute tax fairness for working families, build affordable housing, and strengthen anti-violence and gender equity programs. • Drafted legislation to advance education funding, green job growth, capital gains and high-earner income tax increases, a state-level child tax credit for low-income families, paid sick and family leave, sexual violence prevention training at college campuses and in the workplace, legalization of recreational cannabis, truly affordable housing, a carbon tax, socially equitable climate adaptation, media literacy and anti-trafficking curriculum in public schools, mental health services, and more. • Coordinated constituent communications and services, including assistance to people who were financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine clinics for underserved communities. • Constructed a $65 million capital improvement budget request for new school facilities, upgrades to community healthcare infrastructure, and road repairs. • Analyzed the state budget and advocated for increased appropriations for education, human services, agriculture, and environmental programs.

• Assisted over 1,000 victims of sexual and domestic violence during COVID-19 and relocated 537 victims to safety.• Delivered a coordinated continuum of care for over 100 victims of sex trafficking annually, including medical, mental health, occupational, and basic needs.• Coordinated direct intervention services (victim rescues) for over 200 victims of sex trafficking. • Provided anti-trafficking prevention education training to approximately 1,000 teachers and school staff and 25,000 students each year.• Authored and passed 27 pieces of legislation, including Hawai’i's first labor trafficking law (2011) and sex trafficking ban (2016).• Managed $100,000 annual operating and government relations budget.

• Developed multimodal voter engagement and persuasion strategy for statewide "Vote Yes for Marriage Equality" campaign to urge the public to support amending the Hawai'i State Constitution to support the freedom to marry for LGBTQ+ citizens. • Managed fundraising and financial operations for the campaign, including outreach to high-value donors, elected officials, businesses, and NGOs.• Coordinated statewide efforts for a volunteer database of over fifty people, including mass canvassing and sign-waving events, community fundraisers, phone banking, editorial writing, and informational sessions on multiple islands. • Designed targeted media campaign, including digital and social media advertisements, radio and streaming advertising initiative, weekly press releases, and earned media strategies. • Spearheaded communications and messaging development, including campaign branding, mass email distribution, endorsement solicitation, and collaborative event coordination with strategic partners.
