As a leader within support services and operations at Nordstrom I'm responsible for supporting our 366 stores and corporate campuses with a team of 50+ technicians, service desk managers and program management. In this role, I’ve assisted in deploying Service Now a PaaS solution to the company that optimized incident management and enriched data. Developed self-service, automation initiatives and expanded knowledge management to achieve a 30% decrease in call volume year over year that with continuous improvement kaizens has led to over $300k in cost savings. We’ve also created and implemented a corporate facing Walk Up help center that enables employees to get real time technical assistance when they’re available and on their terms. It’s lead to over 50 employees a day that are able to experience instant service to remediate software and hardware issues.Additionally, I oversaw the design and development of a chat intake model within our ticketing service platform that enables our enterprise to communicate issues and gain a response within an average of 10 seconds with a 98% customer satisfaction rating.

As a manager, I spearheaded the creation of a response team that intakes and manages the resolution of high impacting technology and enterprise issues in a 24/7 model. Solving a technology wide need for better proactive response and alerting. This model allowed us to develop cross functional partnerships and work closely with engineering teams to diagnose and analyze high impacting issues at a 75% faster rate through PagerDuty, Slack and bridge lines.In addition, I also managed 20 program managers and engineers that were dually responsible in supporting and enhancing store technologies for our brick and mortar stores that generate over $5 billion annually.

Managed and developed an iOS application with engineers for our Nordstrom Rack business that bridged two companies into one off price business. Customers utilized the opportunity and returned over 1.2 million items in the first full year on their terms of shopping preference and brought in 400k visits that resulted in a purchase opportunity.
