About Kris Diefenderfer

Solutions Engineer and Content Development Manager with experience creating a wide variety of SW products using a variety of technologies. I specialize in enterprise level software solutions in the IT security and compliance space. I currently specify and architect solutions for Verizon's Managed Security Services and Risk and Compliance initiatives. I also manage the content development of Verizon's Risk and Compliance enterprise offerings.I am also heavily involved in activities within the Verizon Enterprise Solutions team to engender a new agile mindset and ultimately improve the agility of software development teams. As a founding member of Enterprise Solution's Agile Coaching team, I am passionate about utilizing and learning new and better ways to produce high quality software in minimal time. Technical skills: Java, J2EE and other enterprise level development technologies, C++, Cryptography/security, various linux and windows OS platforms, Oracle, Access, Postgres databases and expertise with most MS Office applications.Expert level skills in managing agile and non-agile projects with Atlassian's Jira.I am also a Real Estate Investor with properties in North Carolina and Virginia.
