Provide first-lineinvestigation and fix based on the Knowledge base. Responsible for updating the status of theincident from the ticketing system. Delegates responsibility by assigning incidents to theappropriate provider group for resolution based upon the categorization rules.Performs post-resolution customer review to ensure that all work services are functioning properlyand all incident documentation is complete. Contact end users and acts as the point ofcoordination for several IT groups and processes. Owns sending out notification and bulletins tokey stakeholders. Monitors events. Determines if an event warrants a notification or a bulletin.Create templates used for notifications and bulletins. Provide updates understandable to businessusers. Endorses acceptable Change Requests to the relevant stakeholders.Investigating failed application jobs encountered. Review application logs of long running andfailed jobs to identify root cause and provide accomplished resolution to the team. Verify if SLAsare met. Document and report data weekly for commonalities and recommend approach to reducethe incident count. Provision Hadoop access to users such as keytabs, OS accounts, passwordreset, and connectivity testing. Creates Tableau access to users such as folders, license andprovisioning users.
