Sr.Engineer Quality for Piping & Pipeline Material Procurement.• Indentify inspection and testing requirement for the preparation of Material/Purchase requisition. • Prepare Vendor Quality Requirement Form for Purchase Requisition/Purchase Orders. • Involve in Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) review TQs and technical proposals. • Involve in Criticality Rating Assessment study/workshop• Developing scope of works for Third Party Inspection Contractual Agreement • Supplier Quality Assessment • Attend Kick-off meeting and conduct Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM)• Review/approve Supplier quality/control plans and procedures.• Prepare inspection package and issues inspection authorization to Third Party Inspection (TPI) Agency. • Reviews and distributes TPI Reports. Ensures that all inspection requirements have been fulfilled satisfactorily according to final approved drawings/documents and vendor quality plan. • Carries out as and when required specialized inspection and surveillance at manufacturer premises and witnesses applicable quality tests.• Ensures completeness and compliance with Purchase Order requirements of submitted certificates before forwarding to User for final approval.• Assists in resolving all matters pertaining to Material Discrepancy Reports (MDR) relevant to inspection certificates and follows up till closeout; prepares monthly report on status of resolved and outstanding MDRs.• Resolve any quality related issue after receipt of material and coordination with warehouse and vendor.• Coordination with project delivery team and expediting team for day to day activity. • Review inspection and test records against Purchase Order Requirements form TPI and generate and issue Inspection Release Note.• Maintain NCR, CAR, QIR register and follow up for closeouts vendor/PO wise. • Review and approve MRBs & handing over of hard copies, electronic copies to OWNER/CLIENT.
