What is marketing? Marketing has different interpretations and meanings, often being related to business activities and customers. However, for me marketing is about story telling. Where my story is an accumulation of creativity, learning, and interactions. developing and honing my skills to become a better marketer. Who can effectively tell a story, be it a brand, product or service.Studying marketing has given me the ability to understand how effective intelligent marketing can be to a company, product or business. No matter what stage a company are in simple effective marketing can amplify the success and awareness of a brand or product, whether it be simple social media marketing or major campaigns, I find it fascinating how these can have such a large effect on brands and people. Since working in marketing I have learnt what goes into actioning a campaign and how each role is vital. Where consistency and substance is important for storytelling, which in turn I believe is key to an effective campaign. Moreover, I have learnt how different software and CRM systems are valuable tools for marketers.There is much more I could say about the potential and influence marketing has, along with the thoughts and visions I have for brands, celebrities/ influencers and even current campaigns, and is something I am passionate about discussing.
