Co-led the transition and integration of the separate departments of technical services, assessment, teaching & learning, and curriculum into one centralized department of Learning & Innovation.* Provide district leadership as a core member on the MTSS team to role out training for the first-year implementation of MTSS with a focus on effective Tier 1 behavior management. Developed plans for the upcoming roll-out of district-wide professional learning around Tier 1 instruction using the practices of Universal Design to guide instructional strategies.* Contributed to the core district planning team for new STEAM magnet elementary school to open in the fall of 2020. The Peninsula Promise is our belief of what we think our graduates should be when they leave the Peninsula School District and the idea that the Peninsula School District is Learner-Centered and Future Focused.* Led the emergency roll-out of over 3000 devices and connectivity to students and staff throughout our community during the COVID-19 closure to facilitate continuous learning opportunities for students from a distance.

Increased leadership responsibilities to include the oversight of the Communications department and provide strategic guidance to communications staff.* Developed district communication plans to improve community perceptions of the district in concert with levy and bond campaigns—coordinated communication efforts between in-district staff, contractors, and district advocacy team.* Led organizational evaluation and coaching around technology integration in concert with Digital Promise. This evaluation included building by building interviews, assessments, and reviews on the state of technology adoption and provided concrete action plans to increase the effective use of technology.
