Key results:Costing• Following Standard / Marginal costing for better control & accuracy in plant operations• Screening through costing records (Product costing and Cost-Price-Profit Evaluation/Variance analysis) to determine appropriate price keeping in consideration the profit margin.• Managing the entire cost accounting functions for the group, making actual cost sheets, cost estimates and variance analysis.• Responsible for all types of Stock reconciliation and valuation.Budgeting• Formulating budgets & conducting variance analysis to determine the difference between projected & actual results & implementing corrective actions.• Fixation of yield / usage based on actual past trends in consultation with plant head and CRD.• Preparation and Presentation of Budget consisting of following activities:• Sales / Overhead recovery, Capital expenditure, Expense Budget, Manpower Budget, Asset cost (Depreciation)• Allocation of expenses to work out product wise overheads• Calculation of Raw material cost and total cost (TP) thereofMIS / Auditing• Conceiving, designing and supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on business performance.• Calculating pay back and justification note of proposed capital expenditures• Compiling & analyzing MIS on expense sheets & analysis of profitability position.• Product costing of new molecules based on CRD proposals.Knowledge of Technical (SAP)• Core member of CO team for implementation of CO module• Presently being a super user assigned the role of Creating accounting / costing view of raw materials, basic requirement without which there can be no material movement or transaction.• Review of billing of materials (BOM) along with production planning department.• Ensure timely closure of process orders for smooth functioning of system.• Planned expenses for allocation of overheads.• And reviewing time data of plant operations in order to calculate product wise overheads.
