• Credit facility structuring, evaluation, financial analysis, for the approval of higher management & reviewing existing credit packages. (Working Capital Facilities, Project financing, Asset backed facilities). Evaluations are carried out using the workflow system, Finacle. • Building and maintaining customer relationships. (Maintained a base of 40 clients with a credit portfolio of LKR 1.0Bn) • Monitoring the facility repayments and ensure compliance with approval conditions. • Liaise with Risk Management department in relation to the credit approval packages such as responding to queries and comments from Risk Management.• Recommend the appropriate credit appraisals to relevant authorities according to the delegated levels set by the bank. • Ensuring the adherence to all the guidelines set by the bank and the central bank. • Responsible in maintaining a healthy credit portfolio with lower Non performing ratio and growing the base through acquisitions & canvassing to the existing portfolio. • Structuring the credit facilities according to their requirements.• Achieving the lending targets assigned by the bank. • Support Division Heads and RMs in the review and preparation of credit approval packages, Credit discussion materials etc. and ensure the same are completed as per the bank’s requirements.• Attend client calls/meetings in conjunction with the RM/Division Head in relation to the client’s banking requirements.• Liaise with Risk Management department in relation to the credit approval packages such as responding to queries and comments from Risk Management etc.• Achieve financial targets assigned in line with portfolio handled. • Maintaining regular interactions with clients to address any banking/financial needs and effectively increase share of wallet.• Work closely with customer service unit to ensure that clients’ day to day transaction needs are addressed to the customers’ satisfaction.
