Second generation American, was raised in a 20 unit motel family business where from a young age was expected to learn everything there is to know about operating a successful business.Krishan translated all those young foundational years of entrepreneurial experience into a career of building, advising, and scaling companies ranging from seed stage to established government agencies.Krishan has extensive business psychology expertise and has conducted several business initiatives as a government consultant that address areas such as: positive workplace culture, leadership effectiveness, behavioural dynamics in groups, and the impact of socio-political landscapes in workplace settings.Krishan also worked several years in Private Equity (real estate) where he was actively supporting portfolios of over 50 properties. and Venture Capital where he worked as a investment analyst diligencing and authoring 60 page reports breaking down various seed stage opportunities. Krishan also applied his Ops experience as the right hand man of the CEO and helped UMANA ventures construct a $250M dollar fund which included all areas of: capital raising, deal sourcing, financial modelling, and operational management.Currently:Krishan is the CEO & GP his own Blockchain VC syndicate totaling over +5000 members in its network and has started a flagship fund of $1M specifically investing in small projects.Furthermore he serves as the Head of Operations for Proof.io where he started as the 10th employee and supports product via people operations/management and maintains cross functional development and scale across all departments: CS, Tech/Data, Marketing, Design, Finance, HR, Sales, and Business Development. He also directly works with the executive team and provides strategic counsel and operational insights on overall company success. Proof has raised 8M raised (to date) with notable investors such as: Rakuten Capital, Franklin Templeton, FiveT, and Altera Capital. The team has now scaled to 25 team members and Krishan is responsible for the overall management of the company.
