- In these, 8 months of consultancy I worked on a Human-Wildlife Conflict project in Terai Arc Landscape in Uttar Pradesh- Reviewed literature of existing methods to estimate crop losses to wildlife vis-à-vis all sources of crop loss and efficacy of ex-gratia- Developed a research design based on inputs from WWF-India - Identified sampling area and conducted fieldwork to collect primary data on crop losses based on a sample survey of households- Analyzed data, report writing, and prepared a scientific manuscript based on the work

Worked for the project funded by HSBC Software Development (India) Private Limited under theNature Based Solutions (NbS) for Sustainability and Climate Resilience in Akole block of Ahmednagardistrict, Maharashtra, and Babulgaon village of Kamareddy district, Telangana. My main tasks were: - Conducted a seasonal phytosociology study in the Akole block- Documentation and analysis of flora and fauna in Akole block and Babulgaon village.- Conducted a comprehensive baseline study to document and assess the wetland avifauna and planktons of Koulas Nala, Reservoir, Babulgaon village.- Technical guidance to the implementation team for the construction of waterholes for wildlife and plantation activity at the riverside and hill in the Akole block- Conducted a ‘Green Livelihood’ training program focusing on Bamboo Craftsmanship and Apiculture to foster resilient income generation opportunities for rural communities in the Akole block

My main task was: - Worked in a security audit (Threat Analysis) to understand how and at what scale National Parks andWildlife Sanctuaries are protected- Conducted an Anti-Snare walk to learn about snares using GPS- Volunteered for Village Vigilance Volunteering (V3) to seek help from the villagers to protect theWildlife- Conducted environmental awareness program and bird watching session with community
