As a Quantity Surveyor at Prime Lands, I manage the cost and contract aspects of various construction projects, ranging from residential to commercial developments. I have 4+ years of experience in both traditional and design & build procurement routes, and in both measure & pay and lump‐sum contracts. I have successfully handled contractual and extra contractual claims, variations, sub-contract bills, and progress updates, using ERP, MPRR, IPA, and other tools and techniques.I am currently pursuing my BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa, where I have learned the fundamentals of building economics, cost management, contract administration, and tender documentation. I have also developed my skills in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and Cost X, and used them to prepare BOQs, take off quantities, and check joint measurements. I am passionate about social housing and sustainable construction, and I aim to contribute to the development of the industry and the society.
