Krishanu Maity is currently a Lead Engineer at Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore. He has completed a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India. He received B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Govt. College of Engg. & Ceramic Technology, Kolkata, India, in 2014 and M.Tech degree in Information Technology from Kalyani Govt. Engg. College, Kalyani, in 2017. During M.Tech, he worked as a research assistant at NTU, Singapore, for six months. He had worked in Siksha O Anusandhan, Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha for almost 3 years as an assistant professor in CSE & IT department. His research interests include Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically Offensive posts and Cyberbullying detection from different social media platforms in Code-mixed languages, Deep Learning. He has authored research articles in IEEE Internet Computing, IEEE TCSS, NLE, Expert Systems with Applications and in some peer-reviewed international conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, EACL, SIGIR, ECML, ICDAR, ICPR, etc.
