In my current role I am a Principal Group Engineering Manager in Microsoft Advertising, managing engineering for Microsoft Audience Network and Publisher Platform. I am a co-founder of Microsoft Audience Network which is the Native Advertising product of Microsoft Advertising. In Microsoft Audience Network, I currently manage the platforms and techniques for (1) Signals for User Response Prediction and Advertiser Automated Bidding, (2) Ad Ranking and Pricing, and (3) Bidding in Ad Exchanges. In this role I manage a team software engineers, applied scientists, and economists. I have 16 years of experience in software engineering and applied sciences, and 9 years of experience as a people manager. I have extensive experience in (1) Large scale infrastructure, (2) Machine Learning platforms and techniques, (3) Building successful geographically distributed teams, and (4) Incubating new products and technologies.
