A final year Bachelor of Laws (Hons.)/Bachelor of Arts student at Monash University majoring in International Relations and minoring in Criminology. I am particularly interested in taxation law and human rights law, with a growing passion for the impact of law and public policy on refugees and Indigenous Australians. Over the course of my degree, I have acquired knowledge and experience in these areas through electives and volunteering. Working as an English tutor for migrants and refugees has particularly influenced my commitment to humanitarian advocacy, and studying taxation as an elective in my coursework has made me aware of my strong aptitude in this area of law. I have also taken the time in university to hone my critical thinking, collaboration, research and communication skills, which have been of significant advantage in my academic and professional experience.
