Upon completion of UNDP, GEF and Fijian government'​ s private-public partnership, whilst promoting Sustainability of Renewable Energy Technologies and Renewable Energy Service Companies RESCO's in Fiji (2000-2010), Renewable Energy Systems was born. The critical understanding of industry and it's partnership involving government and NGO's. The understanding of subsidies and financing of rural electrification projects for solar industry with commercialization.This has prompted us to establish (RES) Systems with social and economical benefits to the rural people.The procurement technicalities and related issues to life cycle costs, to make sense and dollars worth. While the RESCO (SHS) program is covering a greater majority of rural population,there are others who fall outside this category, we want to help them in ensuring sustainability of their Solar Home Lights or what ever renewable energy technologies, they use. We want to tell customers that solar system compromises of a number of components and if one fails, it is not the end of everything. It will not cost the same, as buying a new system. We wish to remove this notion and get them to enjoy free lighting everyday, with multiple options. We will help you find the bug and eliminate for the betterment. of all.

For some we had to go to the extent of getting them to re-engineer, to the outputs which we were expecting. This was an interesting exercise to see the willingness of manufacturers, to improvise their products with partners, who are also willing to give the best in the customer satisfaction area. For some products, we went from Version 1 to 3 in the remaking.
