- Plan, monitor, execute and breakdown testing activities and tasks - Creating user stories and acceptance criteria for major features and functional enhancements- Estimation, daily status reports and test summary reports- Developing automated tests in UFT based on existing framework - Working with the development team and key stakeholders on continuous improvement- Defect Management including conducting risk assessment for unresolved defects- Querying databases to assist in testing the application- Maintaining test environments (application servers and databases)- Creation and execution of test cases (functional, volume, security and upgrade testing)- Actively participating in discussions around unit test coverage- Acting as a point of contact for environmental issues or bugs in the UAT environment- Testing integration with 3rd party software such as Kofax

- Identified and refined regression test suites for automation- Scripted automated tests in Java and JavaScript languages- Executed and maintained existing scripts in TestComplete, Selenium and SOAPUI- Defect reporting using JIRA and escalating issues as appropriate- Installed and maintained automated test environments

- Liaised with business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to gather user requirements and functional specifications- Test planning, Test case creation and execution- Implemented test strategy per development approach and project release schedule, using a combination of V-model and Agile methodologies- Tested front-end (Smalltalk driven and Web-based), with a primary focus around functional, usability, security and compliance testing - Constructed SQL queries and ran stored procedures to ensure a more comprehensive test of functionality was delivered- Defect reporting and management through JIRA and escalated issues depending on severity- Tested integration with various 3rd party software such as MS SharePoint, MS Office suite, AutoCAD- Tracked progress of allocated test cases to ensure that testing deadlines were met. Coverage and areas of potential instability were assessed- Prepared test reports outlining test effort and metrics pertaining to quality of release- Mentored junior test analysts
