Jun’15-Dec’18: SFS/Designing/coding platform/infrastructure software for next gen switching platforms: CAT 9K, CSR (C, Linux, x86). Developed a tool to triage issues based on system logs (Apache Spark, Machine Learning). Containerizing software (docker).Mar’14-Jun’15 InterCloud Fabric extends existing data center to public clouds. I worked on enhancements in orchestrator component (Java, REST, Tomcat, Python) in deploying the infra components in the private and public clouds. Lifecycle management of cloud VMs, policy definition of VDC, OpenStack integration in private cloud, prototyping cloud VM security (C++, virtualization). Contributed to open source OpenStack Neutron Group Based Policy.May'11-Mar'14: Architecting, innovating, designing, coding embedded platform software and device bring-up of ASR 9000 Series Router Modular Line Cards (80 GE, 160 GE, next gen) in the areas of CPU, PCIE infra, performance, counterfeit prevention etc., (C, Cisco IOS-XR, QNX, device drivers). In spare time, writing internal developer productivity tools such as triage tool (HTML5, jQuery/AJAX, Tomcat server, Python). Dec'9-May'11: Lead a team for platform architecture, coding, board bring-up of ASR 9000 Services, in the areas of Innovative Online Insertion and Removal (OIR), environment monitoring (C, Linux, Intel x86, kernel and user space drivers, PCIE, I2C). Performance analysis, tools development of Linux network drivers. Nov'8 -Dec'9: Leading the "Voice Quality Monitor" Software As A Service(SAAS) feature working with Marketing, Network SMEs, feature integration, scalability testing methodology and managed global teams(Java/J2EE, JMS, WebSphere, Oracle). June'5-Nov'8: Lead Application Velocity System data path integration with ACE Load Balancer, scaling the number of connections supported by 10 times by migrating to multithreaded architecture, etc (C, C++, Apache, HTTP, multithreading, Linux, Intel x86).

Designed and developed data path framework components (HTTP engine for communicating with the real web server, policy manager, exception handling, shared memory for metadata objects and cache files). Involved in the development of web optimization, web application firewall and performance monitoring features. Used C, C++, sockets, IPC, Apache on Linux and Solaris platforms. Architected, designed AVS Management console device manager and reporting manager. Also developed modules such as device manager, scheduled reports, saved reports, DB schema upgrade, NMS integration feature for performance data etc., (Java/J2EE, JBoss-Tomcat, JMX, JMS, PostgreSQL, SNMP, Apache, XML, XSLT, XPath).Resolved integration, performance issues of Wide Area File Server (Java, Jetty).Troubleshooted and resolved customer issues.
