Buchanan Renewable Fuel (BR Fuel) produces biomass for power production by converting unproductive rubber trees into wood chips. The company exports its wood chips to power utilities that use them to reduce their fossil based emissions by substituting biomass for coal. I was the General Manager - Project Procurement for ArcelorMittal Liberia from Feb 2006 to July 2011. I was responsible for the entire procurement, contracts, warehouse and logistics for this project in Liberia from Feb 2006 till completion of the project last year. The project consisted of 1.Development of Port 2. Development of 260 km of Rail Road 3. Development of Mine 4. Development of Infrastructures like housing, road work, remote camps, Security, Safety, Medical facilities etc at site. I have been handling the entire Project Procurement for the Green Field Project of Iron Ore Mining in Liberia since very beginning, from Feb. 2006. I am meeting with all the expertise, qualities desired for an efficiently and effectively management of Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Control, Contracts and Warehousing for any project in African Countries. I have handled the procurement and contracts worth US$ 720 Millions. Apart from Procurement, I have also been involved into Environmental related activities, CSR, Implementing Health and Safety standards, Community Development etc etc. As a key member of the Project team I have provided leadership in a proactive and positive manner.
