I am a Research Fellow at RMIT University, working as part of the ARC CoE Transformative Meta Optical Systems (TMOS). I have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where I researched mainly electronic and optoelectronic devices, mainly based on 2D materials. My core competencies include device engineering, RIE, electron beam lithography, photolithography, and material characterization techniques.In my current role, I focus on optimizing phase change materials for applications in photonics, particularly in light manipulation. I also contribute to the design and refinement of fabrication processes to create metasurfaces. Additionally, I serve as the deputy project manager for TMOS, supporting the coordination and communication of the research team. I am passionate about advancing the field of photonics and nanoelectronics, and I aim to deliver innovative and impactful solutions for society and the environment. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of researchers, and I bring a unique perspective and experience from my previous work and education in India.
