Project :• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project activities.• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes, recommending actions.• Controls project costs by approving expenditures, administering contractor contracts.• Maintains project data base by entering and backing up data.Procurement :• To maintain uninterrupted flow of materials to support the development schedules.• To procure materials economically at a cost consistent with the quality and service required. However, generally all purchases may be attempted at the lowest cost.• To conduct purchase in such an open manner that potential vendors will be impressed by the fairness of the system.• To encourage competitive purchasing.• To develop and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment as required.
