As a Project engineer my responsibilities included the following:• Understanding the contract documents, preparing project estimation, preparing project budget, cash flow, cost reports & cost variance report, procurement of subcontractors, material and manpower • Ensuring Bid Submission in full compliance with the Project requirement.• Ensuring appropriate design/construction coordination is complete• Coordinating with MEP Engineers for timely preparation and delivery of project deliverables.• Advising design engineers while preparing heat load, calculation, pump head estimation, pipe size calculation, duct sizing and equipment selection.• Requesting finance department to prepare Insurances, Performance Guarantees, positive and negative VO to contractors• Coordinating with contractors and Finance team to finalize the PS & PC packages• Providing advice to the team in relation to installation, commissioning and handover• Managing quality control program for MEP systems • Review contractor schedules in relation to procurement, installation, and testing and commissioning, and identify any potential delays or progress concerns.• Ensuring As-built and O&M Manuals requirements are completed with the owner requirements.• Managing MEP defects rectification during the defects liability period• Interaction with Consultant, Main Contractor & other Sub-contractors for successful completion of Projects.

Worked in ALEMCO as a Mechanical Project engineer :• Prepare Critical Calculations (Pump Head & ESP), Prepare / Review MEP Calculations, Method statements, Technical Submittals, Material Submittals and Engineering Shop Drawings. Obtain approval from Client / Consultant Engineers. Engineering Coordination and integration of the systems. • Quantity take-off for Mechanical Systems from the consultant /tender drawing. • Floating Enquiry to the Suppliers / Manufacturers as per the makes specified in the tender documents. • Preparation of cost comparison sheet for all suppliers & Sub-contractors offer. • Finalize Major Equipment's and Subcontractors in line with the project specification, delivery schedule and vendor list. Review material comparison statements. Negotiation with Vendors & Subcontractors. • Executing the projects as per approved drawings and site conditions, with the help of skilled technicians, with in the given time schedule. • Site work supervision and equipment commissioning supervision. • Interaction with Main Contractor & other Sub-contractors for the successful completion of Projects. • Give importance to technical issues and put maximum effort to solve the issue, without make any delay in the work. • Decision making on relocating Fire Fighting, Water Supply and Drainage services to permit other services to run through the same rout. • Site Coordination for obtaining clearance for mechanical services. • Confirm that cutouts and sleeves are located as per drawing on stair shear walls, floors, roof and walls. Project Closeout activities. - Prepare close out reports with list of suppliers, data sheets, approved submittals, drawings, RFI, red mark documents, As built documents, Warranty certificates, O&M Manuals, Training records
