 Currently positioned as shop floor officer-in-charge and also officiating Detachment -in charge in representation of Overhaul division , HAL Bengaluru at Airforce station, Tambaram, Chennai. The role and responsibilities are as followsa) responsible for the smooth functioning & quality of the 2nd line servicing production activity and adhering to scheduled timelines in the routine activities b) maintain adequate serviceable aircraft in the flight line for training IAF pilots on daily basis as per flying instructor school planc) preparation of monthly induction and staggering plan for aircraft servicing activitiesd) forecast monthly demand for spares and follow-up with agencies in order to reduce lead time in production.e) plan and execute daily shop floor activities with optimum management of manpower ( around 130 workmen) in job detailing, monitoring and control of the men f) organize familiarization and On the job training sessions for new inducteesg) adherence to flight safety maintenance standards with the prime objective of flight safety . h) efficiently handle ground and flight emergency situations during pilot training sortie.

 Team leader for maintaining the quality assurance system in Equipping , erection , assembly ,aircraft testing and servicing of Electrical & Avionics systems of prototype Light combat aircraft [ (LCA) (Air force Fighter, Air force trainer, Naval fighter &trainer)] ,Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) Aircrafts and Hindustan Turbo trainer (HTT-40) and obtaining clearance from customer representatives (Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance ( DGAQA), Ministry of Defence)) for real time design validation of prototype aircrafts through developmental flight test trials. Approved inspection personnel from DGAQA for certifying electrical & Avionics systems of prototype LCA ,IJT HTT-40 aircraf & associated development of electrical &avionics rigs for the aircrafts with proper documentation  Testing & certification of A/C electrical, avionics & instrumentation systems. Testing of systems involves LRU stand-alone checks, System integration checks, End to End checks and Performing pre-flight and post-flight checks  Involved as quality representative in design review proceedings for the design and developmental activities of aircraft Line Replaceable units (LRU)
