Current Consulting Engagements:• Feature-driven Digital Thread Development - Ford MotorConceptualize, develop and articulate the strategy to develop the digital thread, for ALL Product Features (incl. customer-driven, regulatory, etc), through the entire life-cycle, from concept to production and beyond. Key drivers include the necessity to drive Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to resolve quality items and enable feature subscriptions, during the ownership of the vehicle. The engagement includes leveraging legacy data sources into the digital thread, along with identifying technical enablers to automate and manage the future state digital thread.• Integrate Machine Learning Solutions into Enterprise BOM Management - Ford MotorConceptualize, develop and implement the Machine Learning Technology solutions (Vision, NLP) to improve efficiency and drive "Real-time" decision support with in the BOM system. This includes integration of multiple data sources; fast, intelligent identification, visual mapping & extraction of product features and parts to enable fast efficient impact analysis of design alternatives and changes.• Global Resource Planning & Management at a NA OEMKey Responsibilities: Document the current process highlighting the inefficiencies, Propose and Deliver strategic business transformation of the Global Resource Planning and Management, through a combination of process re-engineering and Portfolio Management Solution implementation. This engagement led to a multi-year cross-organizational $40M project championed by the VP Global PD.

Responsible for the development of technical and PLM Strategy, articulating the business case, obtain Senior Executive endorsement for the strategy and funding for enabler development. Key engagements at Ford Motor, Nissan Motor & Automotive Tier 1 suppliers are listed below:• CAE Data Management StrategyDeveloped & implemented the CAE Data Management Strategy, using Siemens’ Team Center, in conjunction with significant business process improvements. The project involved mapping of the current process, identifying opportunities for incremental efficiencies and implementing enabling technologies.. The implementation covering 1000 global CAE engineers produced 20% time savings per CAE analysis cycle.• Global Verification StrategyDeveloped the Global Verification Strategy that assessed the impact of macro-level external factors like Globalization, Sustainability and Mobility on Product Verification within a NA OEM; articulated a joint Business-IT roadmap for sustained process improvements thru the use of Co-creation, data accessibility and traceability. • PD Engineering Computing Strategy Developed the Engineering Computing Strategy for NA OEM Product Development, a framework to align business needs to technology developments; integrating visualization, computation, information management and collaboration requirements. The migration from Unix to Windows involved an annual spend of over $50M in workstations, HPC and storage hardware for over 10,000 Designers & Engineers. • Digital Product Creation StrategyDeveloped the digital Product Development process focusing on Process-Information-Technology Alignment, involving: Lean PD, Value Stream Mapping, Process Deliverables/Metrics and alignment to Technology Strategy, PLM Architecture and Data/ Information flows. The new PD Process, first implemented in 2006, reduced PD cycle times by 12 months.• Virtual Product ProgramLed the PLM work-stream for CAx Strategy at Nissan via a Roland Burger Engagement

Managed the "New Technology Portfolio" involving CAD/CAM/CAE and Information ManagementDeveloped over 10 Engineering & IT solutions in Design, CAE, Knowledge-based engineering and Data Management - from concepts to C-level approvals to implementations.Published numerous papers, both internally and in external conferences; awarded 1 patent
