Asst. Resident Engineer
• Reviewing and approving of Shop drawings/Method Statements considering specification and site requirements.• To ensure all approved project specification points are covered in the Method Statements/Construction work Packages.• To Check the inspection requests for items done by contractor and validating quantities.• To ensure the work carried out at site is confirming to the other interface works.• Following were the activities undertook during the current phase of the project:o Geotechnical Investigation.o Follow ups during setting up contractors site facilities.o Ensuring Temporary traffic plan compliance.o Conducting Interface meeting prior to the commencement of site activities.o Site clearance and Excavations.o Inspecting of substructure construction works including reinforcement and concreting.o Ensuring contractors compliance to JHA/HSE requirements during setting up of tower crane.• Ensuring Inspections as per approved procedure were undertaken for Superstructure works, Station Canopies frame installation, canopy structures, Steel Structure works, Entrance Bridge erection, Platform works, Skylights, Station Entrances, Egress tunnel works.• With regard to quality, following actions were initiated:o Raising of quality Issues and following up for closure.o Raising of Condition Reports for document issues.o Raising of NCR for construction issues.
