The Interactive Payroll Accuracy Tool (IPAT) is a web application designed to ensure payroll accuracy within organizations by calculating and verifying employee payments across various entities and generating template-based validation reports. The application includes a dashboard for submitting Special Pays from multiple sources and automating data corrections across different interfaces. In my role, I supported the IPAT application throughout its lifecycle, taking responsibility for enhancement tasks and ensuring smooth operations. I customized reports and data based on user requirements, managing daily jobs that extracted employee information to maintain data integrity. I granted access to Special Pay logs as requested by employees and continuously worked on enhancing processes and integrating new features in response to both technical and business needs. Additionally, I maintained strong client relations by gathering and analyzing business requirements in collaboration with clients and business analysts, ensuring technical feasibility.I was also responsible for developing database objects, including tables, views, materialized views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. My work involved writing complex SQL queries with joins and sub-queries to meet reporting and data manipulation needs. I identified risks, proposed mitigation strategies, and suggested technical solutions to address potential issues. I supported the development team by resolving critical defects promptly, ensuring seamless application performance and user satisfaction.
