Passionate about pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing, I am an AM Production Engineer at SLM Solutions AG in Lübeck. With a strong focus on planning and maintaining 3D printing production facilities, I've successfully increased efficiency by coordinating print orders, designing in CAD, and troubleshooting 3D printing machines. My role extends to the optimization of critical components and managing projects both internally and across the APAC region.Prior to this, I contributed to cutting-edge research as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IWS in Dresden, specializing in Laser Powder Bed Fusion Processes. Here, I honed my skills in planning, designing, and implementing tests for prototype production, optimizing process parameters, and conducting analyses like SEM, EDS, and DIA.My journey began as a Production Engineer at Hyundai Construction Equipment Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, India. There, I monitored and improved processes for excavators, implementing design changes, resolving defects, and driving continuous improvements for a better-quality product.I hold a Master's degree in Advanced Manufacturing from Technische Universität Chemnitz, where my thesis focused on the process optimization for additive manufacturing of biodegradable metals. My research project delved into the microstructure and temperature behavior of friction stir additive manufacturing. My educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune, where I worked on reducing setup and rework time in pipe-to-pipe welding through automation.My areas of expertise encompass additive manufacturing, joining technologies, machining technologies, and resource efficiency.
