MDTHINK CJAMS (Child Juvenile Adult Management Services) system which provides welfare schemes for child who are being neglected or abused. My role is to migrate data from legacy CHESSIE system to new CJAMS systems by understanding the requirements and functionality to constitute modernization of an existing technology and as a senior resource working with team to make them understand the requirements. Working with application team to verify if the migrated data is accommodated correctly in CJAMS as per the user requirements. Few Modules where I have worked extensively is Intake, CPS, Service case, Removal, Placement etc. My role in LTC is to extract data from Postgres and create binary file with business requirements according to the Interface using Informatica BDM and Power Exchange. Amongst interfaces built included feeds for 8001, L98 & REDETs.

Gathering business requirements from Business Analyst and created source to target mapping documents and ETL data flow documents.Worked on Informatica client tools – Source Analyzer, Warehouse designer, Mapping Designer and Transformation Developer for defining Source& Target definitions and coded the process of data flow from source system to data warehouse.Created complex mappings in Informatica to load the data using transformations like Joiner, Aggregator, Update Strategy, Rank, Router, Lookup, Sequence Generator, Filter, Sorter and Source Qualifier.Worked with different source systems such as Oracle, Teradata, Flat files to load data into Target system.Implemented Change Data Capture (CDC) in Power centre Mapping to extract data from Huge data source.Implemented Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD type 1 and 2) to Insert and Update data into the Target.Extensively used Debugger and session logs in error handling, debugging and troubleshooting existing ETL bugs.Implemented performance tuning logic on Targets, Sources, mappings, sessions to provide maximum efficiency and performance.Created and monitored workflows using workflow manager and workflow monitor.Created mapping Parameters and Variables.Provide solutions for workflow automation through ETL using Informatica.Processed workflows to run on daily and weekly basis using Informatica Scheduler.Performed End to End unit testing of the development code.Check-in the latest ETL code and SQL scripts required in Serena Dimensions and create baseline to promote code to Higher Environments.Created Builds in Application life cycle management for the appropriate Baseline created in Serena.Involved in Bug fixes and supported MW team to maintain code in Production Environment.Involved in fixing Bugs and closing them which are assigned to ETL team in Application life cycle management.Create and manage best practices and standards for ETL processes.
