Current- Led the strategy team for the American Solar Challenge, to simulate and optimize vehicle performance factors, including torque, velocity, and battery SOC, while accounting for traffic conditions and solar irradiance.
- Modularized Python code using OOP, integrating the Solcast API for weather data and the Overpass API to assume driving cycles, optimizing energy efficiency based on solar irradiance forecasts over several hours.
- Developed a driver display system on a Raspberry Pi using PyQt, providing real-time data to the driver (speed, battery levels) and ensuring seamless communication via ZMQ sockets and CAN Bus integration.
