These facilities range from million-square-foot Fulfillment Centers with thousands of robots down to inner-city Prime Now facilities serving orders to be fulfilled within an hour. Each year we spend billions on these facilities and expect high-impact results from the network built upon them. We use time series forecasting, optimization for various core decisions, machine learning to approximate the network, and simulation of how our choices will perform. - Produce the forecasts of inventory storage cube growth over the next 1-3 years- Generate Fulfillment Center build plan recommendations for Amazon networks- Recommend breakdown of Amazon Fulfillment Center utilization across various businesses within Amazon- Lead efforts to launch solutions in new markets- Centralize processes across at least 5 different organizations responsible for Amazon fulfillment network topology- Provide input into business and technical direction, steering broader solutions in support of these objectives.- Responsible to develop, prepare and distribute reporting and recommendations for leadership reviews Show less
