As a Consultant Project Lead at Teach For India, I work with the Tamil Nadu State Department of School Education to develop and execute a statewide School Leadership Development Program. This program aims to improve the quality of education and learning outcomes for over 50 million students in public schools across the state focusing on the lever of School Leadership. I contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the program, using data-driven and evidence-based approaches to inform policy and practice.I have over six years of experience working with the public school system, as a former teacher, school administrator, and senior research consultant. I have also led and supported several special projects for the Office of Ms.S.Jothimani, a Member of Parliament from Karur, focusing on education policy and social justice issues. I hold a Master of Arts in Education (Elementary) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. I am passionate about exploring the intersection of politics, public education, and social equity, and how they can shape the future of our society. I believe that education is a powerful tool for social transformation and empowerment, and that every child deserves access to quality and inclusive education. I am always eager to learn new skills and knowledge, and to collaborate with diverse and like-minded professionals who share my vision and values.
