 Firmware component validation on desktop and ultra-book reference platforms. Firmware build and integration using team city and perforce. Understanding the harness & Updating same in to IFWI based on OEM requirement. Responsible for qualifying the firmware ingredients like CSE, ISH, PMC/Patch, GOP, vBIOS, BIOS, EC based on the integration and sanity testing. Conducting BAT and Functional testing, Sanity testing of the firmware builds. Involved in logging the bugs, debug and isolation of the firmware components which causing the issues. Check in the latest payloads to the version control system (perforce) after end to validation of the payload. Logging the defects, reproduced and provided technical root cause for reported issues by analysing failures in system under test – thereby, worked closely with Firmware validation and Program Management teams in resolving technical issues and delivering quality product to customer Closely working with development team for resolving bugs
