Officiating Manager-Supply Chain during the absence of the Manager-Supply Chain.To assist the Manager – Supply Chain in day to day functional and administrative activities of the Stores.To have a complete control over of staff for their discipline, performance and ensure regularity in their respective daily functionality.Ensuring optimization of inventory level, ROL level and ensuring that all the quality control checks of the stores are being maintained Follow up on the quality compliance monitoring and audit program Maintaining and monitoring VMI .Maintaining consignment stock held at stores for third party Aircraft Maintenance.Supervising the stores staff by establishing working principles, precedents, policies and objectives as per CAA.To procure the aircraft parts, commercial parts which are required for the maintenance of the aircraft .Sales of aircraft spares and surplus inventory.Negotiating with supplier to get better pricing of spares .Planning movement of AOG spare from supplier with Minimum Transit time and cost effective .Managing logistics operational functions, import/export, negotiating with transporters and clearing& forwarding agents for cost effective transport solution .Following up with finance department for payment to vendorsInitiating Warranty claims with the supplier for the part failed before the warranty PeriodOptimization of the Inventory levels to ensure adequate and ready availability of the materials to meet maintenance targets.To conduct verification / cyclic count of the inventory to maintain the inventory levels without variance.Ensure to follow appropriate valuation method of inventory count according to the type / usage of materials. (Standard/Weighted Average/FIFO/LIFO)Establishing Minimum Stock levels for Consumables, Expendables and RotableReview Min Max level and fix ROL.Controlling of Rotable Stock level based on MEL categoryRepair Management of Rotables and Tools

Carry out receiving inspection of all incoming spares for aircraftEnsure all the incoming spares and parts are supported with appropriate documents and duly signed by the authorized signatories.Prepare GRN & Serviceable tag, raise discrepancies if requires. Responsible for issuing Parts acceptance tag/Quarantine tag/Rejection note for new components when received from supplier.Maintain proper records of the items which have a shelf / storage life expiry periods. Upkeep of Calibration registers and ensure all equipments used in aircraft are periodically calibrated in timeEnsure that such items are removed from the stock on or before their expiry dates and are sent for recertification / scrap as applicable.Monitoring of the stock levels consistently and ensuring to alert the procurement department when the parts reach to their re-order levels.To ensure the serviceability of all the tools which are held in the store.Ensure all the parts are adequately protected and properly blankedSegregation of the commercial items which are used on the aircraft and ensure are separatelyEnsure that the parts which are released to service have not been deteriorated or damaged during storage.Ensure that a proper temperature & humidity is maintained in all the designated store areas.Forward the unserviceable parts report to the procurement and dispatch the rotables to the proper repair stations as suggested by the engineering .
