In addition to managing a Design Team at Mumbai, also coordinating with all Zonal Offices and all concerned Chief Town Planning consultants appointed for the respective States of India. Guiding associates for design for Regions comprising North,South, East and West zones of India and relevant to requirements of respective region and also initiating and driving strategic improvements in project design to enhance quality and cost competitiveness.

Architecture and Planning coordination for an area admeasuring nearly 500 acres Free Trade and WareHousing and domestic logistic hubs of International standard which are Special Economic Zone (SEZ) project created under the Government of India Policy.Managing the delivery process for the construction drawings for Architectural and structural drawings for Buildings as well as Area development and Pre-Engineered Building structures (PEBs). Coordinated setting up of a Special Planning Authority for the Panvel Project through a Statutory Process in coordination with Government of Maharashtra to facilitate self certification of the building plans and infrastructure development plans to speed up the implementation of the Project. Obtained layout and building permission for the Free Trade and Ware Housing Projects at Khurja in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

I have been part of the Physical Development Process throughout my Urban Planning Career at CIDCO and am conversant with all the issues of Physical development including Master Plan preparation, Layout Planning, Landscape designing, Planning Administration of developed townships, Planning coordination of Infrastructure and Mass Housing Schemes, providing guidance to technical experts from various disciplines involved in very large Township developments. Was selected as a Task Force Member from a pool of 35 physical planners to be part of a three member core team including the Managing Director and the Chief Engineer constituted for the Navi Mumbai Special Economic Zone Project(NMSEZ) spread over 4377 Hectares and was the single point contact for all Urban Planning related issues to the entire technical work force of the Joint Venture team implementing the Navi Mumbai Special Economic Zone Project. Participated in International Road Shows at Singapore and Dubai in 2002. Provided Planning coordination in securing various approvals from Government Agencies for NMSEZ.Coordinated with leading National and International Consultants for Master Planning, Financial and Legal Services. The technical coordination was in the form of guiding and providing Planning inputs to a very mammoth and experienced Design and Engineering Workforce. Coordination of the preparation of the Coastal Zone Management Plan for Navi Mumbai including delination of the High Tide Line by Chief Hydrographer of India’s team .

Provided strategic direction to the technical requirements of various assignments to a large group of professionals from various Engineering disciplines and represent the Company in all Technical discussions with the Clients, the Visakhapatnam Steel City Township. One other major achievement was the design of a new housing cluster in the established Steel township. Participated in the Business Development activity for securing consultancy projects from various Organisations.
