Diverse range of projects from assessing the leisure potential of Europe's largest brownfield site at York; leisure strategy and operator negotiations for a major harbourside development near Dublin; financial business planning a new attraction as part of Lord's Cricket Ground's £100m masterplan; preparing development strategies for international conference and exhibition centres in the UK and South Africa and operational improvements and winning Lottery grants for museums in England. Current long-term assignment as Quality Assurance Assessor for many of London and South East England's visitor attractions and racecourses for Visit England. Hired to direct and lead the work on"​ London's Tourism Strategy to 2025"​ for London and Partners, the capital's Promotional Agency in 2016. Has led and project managed major leisure and commercial development project assignments in the UK, US and Middle East. Hired as Development Director for HBO's new permanent "Game of Thrones" visitor attraction in central Belfast.

Sales and Group Strategy responsibility for Ernst & Young's​ Leisure Consulting arm in the UK, whilst also leading joint teams on major initiatives in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Chosen to lead the firm's strategic business planning for its Leisure Consulting business for three years and Account Management initiative of interfacing the Consulting, Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance practices to maximise client satisfaction and opportunities in the leisure sector. Account Manager for Grosvenor Estates and Wembley plc. In addition, led market due diligence assignments such as the successful venture- capital bid of £130m to acquire Earl's Court and Olympia Exhibition and Conference Centres and project managed a key part of the firm's largest ever tourism assignment- the Saudi Arabian Tourism Strategy, designed to increase Gulf visits to the country outside of the main religious festival periods.

Deputy to the partner overseeing the Leisure Consulting business in the UK, as well as project managing several high profile assignments in Europe and the US. Managed a team of 10, specialising in the visitor attraction, commercial leisure, conference and exhibition sectors. Seconded to Disneyland Paris and also Universal Studios Florida to respectively assess and re-work Disney's 20 year development strategy for the consortium of 62 banks ( and monitoring theme park's quarterly results over the following four years) and business plan Universal's new theme park development. Led his team to successfully win multi-million pound Lottery grants for projects such as Tate Modern, Bristol Harbourside and Scotland's National Stadium at Hampden Park. Also led much of the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham's strategic conference and exhibition development work over a period of five years whilst he was at the firm.

Worked his way up to the position of Assistant Director of Development, project managing England's grant and loan scheme for tourism projects. In charge of a group of 10 project officers assessing applications for financial assistance for hotel, theme park and other major visitor attraction schemes. Responsible for team's recruitment, development and training needs and annual appraisals. Reporting to the Board and government department, he also co-wrote the Board's Development Strategy for England and was responsible for undertaking the market and financial appraisal of England's first Center Parcs holiday resort development at Sherwood Forest. This won the largest ever grant from H.M.Treasury for a tourism project following his presentation to them of his market and financial report.
