As part of the development team, I am actively involved in designing and integrating new features to enhance the PayPal payment system for an e-commerce client. While having limited control over certain modifications, I have had the opportunity to participate in high-level meetings with senior developers and stakeholders. This experience has broadened my understanding of the project lifecycle and helped me contribute to improving application performance and scalability on AWS.Key Contributions:• Contributed to PayPal integration using Java Spring Boot and microservices.• Analyzed PayPal documentation and Collaborated with the team to finalize the end-to-end integration approach.• Integrated PayPal REST APIs for standard checkout including createOrder, Capture, and Status retrieval.• Used Git and Bitbucket for version control, managing branching, merging, and pull requests.• Developed error codes and utilized Spring exception handling for efficient error management.• Secured the application with OAuth2.0 and HmacSha256.• Gained hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2 for deployment.• Followed Agile SCRUM methodology using Jira for project management.• Explored and implemented open-source tools like Redis Cache and ActiveMQ for better performance.
