- Pilot Jenkins and Teamcity to build a DevOps framework for automated builds and deployments- Proactively audited Equity Markets applications and workflows against corporate technology standards for compliance and report any deficiencies to management- Participate in the audit process of Equity Markets applications executed by the internal audit team- Lead application refresh or replacement for multiple applications; this included identifying places for improvement with how the application integrates in the ecosystem, hardware configuration, workflow improvement, following standards and coordinating activities with other internal technology teams and vendors- Lead and implement a workflow for seamless and transparent sharing of data between Equity Research and Investment Banking teams- Manage technology deviations, investigate the time and effort to remediate issues to remove the need for a deviation from standard, work together with information security on the creation or renewal of a deviation and end-to-end execution- Investigate and address application capacity issues for applications- Be the escalation point for investigating issues raised by the production support team

- Be the escalation point in critical decision making situations for junior members of the team- Manage initiatives and internal projects/upgrades for the enhancement sustainability of production environment- Build relationships with external vendors and ensure sufficient knowledge transfer is done to be able to better support their product- Participate in projects in an advisory role and back fill wherever and whenever needed- Manage, support, and resolve complex vendor and proprietary technical issues arising on the equity markets trading floor in a calm and efficient manner- Lead project coordination efforts in on-boarding clients, bringing the different internal technology teams together to provide the optimal end-to-end solution for both internal and external clients.- Identify proactive solutions for recurring technology occurrences to benefit the trading professionals- Evaluating complex technical information to determine risk levels and technical feasibility when making changes to trading applications.- Check on overnight batch processes, market and client connectivity to ensure technology readiness and availability each trading day.- Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for support of applications. Identify root cause and defining actions to eliminate recurrence.- Manage, support, and resolve complex vendor and proprietary technical issues arising on the trading floor in a calm and efficient manner- Successfully prioritize and manage multiple requests, projects, and activities typically working under pressure- Effectively communicate problems and resolutions in a high stress environment
