Effectively provide dental hygiene care including:•Taking radiographs• Extraoral/Intraoral health assessments• Prophylaxis, Scaling, Root Planing, Periodontal Maintenance• Oral Hygiene Instruction• Implement tobacco cessation and nutritional counseling• Develop personalized dental hygiene care plans for patient treatment• Fabrication of whitening trays, night guards, mouth guards• Administer fluoride therapy to children and adults (varnish/tray technique)• Apply preventive sealants for children and adults

NJ Dept of Health Children's Oral Health Program•Provide oral health resources and education to high risk populations including school children ages PreK- Grade 12, WICS, and Family Success Centers•Presentation topics for education include: oral hygiene practices, importance of routine dental visits, nutrition, dental injury prevention, and vape/tobacco education.•Data collection and prepare monthly reports•Foster and enhance collaborations with school health professionals/administrations in order to effectively communicate information targeted towards the needs of each community•Empower children to be proactive with their own oral health as well as overall health•Promote oral health outreach in order to improve outcomes for children throughout the state
