① Manufacturing Quality – Weld Shop• Ensuring process audit – system and fixture audits as per plan & closure of NC • Ensuring calibration of welding fixtures & panel checkers.• Ensuring body PIST level – 85 % (min) • Ensuring patrol inspection as per Quality Plan• Sub-assemblies’ accuracy conformance through stage gauges – panel checkers• Final inspection of body.• Processing of internal and external customer complaints• Buy off co-ordination with paint shop② Supplier Quality ( SCV & M&HCV )• Ensuring incoming quality of sheet metal components for the plant• Working with suppliers during the initial phase of development, performing PPAP audits & Approval.• Ensuring Built in Quality of the components through robust processing & mistake proofing. Aid the supplier with incorporating Quality detection within the process layout.• Plant lead for ensuring adherence of 10 principles of WCSQ for identified suppliers• Plant lead for SQMS• System and process audit at supplier’s end and gap closure• Monitoring supplier performance -PPM & & working towards achieving the target line.• Working towards minimizing the warranty cost • Ensuring the adherence of layout inspection schedule & taking corrective & preventive actions based upon the report.
