Post graduation from Imperial College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I decided to leave the world of engineering and enter the more fast paced investment banking industry, where I started my career out as a foreign exchange trader at Lehman Brothers.In October 2008, following my interest in training & development, I joined SEO London, a charity focused on helping ethnic minorities enter the professional world. I managed their Investment Banking programme, responsible for the recruiting, selection, assessment and training processes for candidates interested in the whole array of investment banking roles. After 2 years, I was promoted to Executive Director, where I had key responsibility for some of SEO's business development initiatives and experienced hiring (SEO Connect) as well as overseeing the Investment Banking programme and general office staffing, managing a team of sixteen. With a background in engineering and finance, as well as a passion for technology and data, I decided to join our family business, SVA Car Lamps & Body Panels, an importer and distributer of crash repair parts. Tasked with growing the E-commerce business, I designed and built two new e-commerce sites, and launched into selling on various e-commerce platforms. With a new brand, The Collision Shop, I am now focused on the insurance certified crash repair part market.My key strengths: Excellent business and functional knowledge of the several industries both in the UK and Europe, especially the Automotive.
