During my tenure at APTIV, I served as a Senior Product Manager, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic shift towards software-centric solutions, particularly in Software Defined Vehicles (SDV). Under the leadership transition led by Sophia Velastegui, and within the Global Product Organization (GPO), I spearheaded initiatives to integrate WINDRIVER's software assets and align APTIV Middleware with the Adaptive AUTOSAR stack.Although specific financial impacts weren't outlined, my efforts aimed to enhance APTIV's competitiveness and market relevance. The company's financial reports likely reflect this transition, showcasing increased R&D spending and partnerships indicative of innovation and growth. Despite market challenges, APTIV's strong financial performance in Q3 and Q4 of 2023 demonstrated its resilience and commitment to sustainable growth. The decision to implement layoffs, reported in press, reflects APTIV's response to industry transformations, including disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic and semiconductor shortages. Organisational restructuring led to disruption of my team composition and my reporting line, incentivizing me to explore alternative career paths outside APTIV to sustain my professional growth. My role as a Senior Product Manager involved strategic planning, product integration, and alignment with industry standards, APTIV's active puruits, and hardware platform roadmap. Specifically, I led initiatives to integrate WINDRIVER's software assets and ensure compatibility with APTIV Middleware, contributing to our company's positioning in the SDV market.Achievements:- Facilitated WINDRIVER software integration into APTIV.- Enhanced Middleware alignment and co-operability with Adaptive AUTOSAR.- Elevated several R&D scopes into APTIV's Roadmap and Product Catalogue, emphasizing Cloud, Edge, and Middleware capabilities.

Sounder Technology Inc. specializes in developing software for trading stocks and other financial instruments. During my tenure, I led a significant transformation within the development team, focusing on delivering solutions across various platforms, including web browsers, PCs with major operating systems, and mobile devices. The goal was to ensure a consistent user interface and incorporate current UX trends.Subsequently, I conceptualized, pitched, and executed a new product called Uranus, aimed at entering new markets. Uranus was a cross-platform native application available on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It featured an application runtime environment, an application SDK+IDE, and a cross-platform application store. Users could install Uranus once on any or all of their devices, granting access to an IDE for visual app development, the ability to run these apps within Uranus, and access to an integrated app store for publishing and acquiring apps.What made Uranus unique was its ability to facilitate app development in a consistent manner across both PCs and mobile devices. While the idea of developing apps on a smartphone may initially seem unconventional, scenarios such as docking an Android device to a desktop setup with a large monitor, mouse, and keyboard showcased the practicality and convenience of mobile-based development. This approach opened up new possibilities and catered to niche scenarios, expanding the application's versatility beyond traditional computing environments.Furthermore, I led the development of stock market-related apps within Uranus, showcasing its versatility and effectiveness in diverse applications. This achievement not only streamlined the process of porting legacy software but also ushered in a new era of cross-platform app development, distribution, and provisioning, marking a significant milestone for the company.

Altmes was a startup attempt, which eventually failed due to lost investor, focusing on the market for multi-seat personal computing, and one in which everything would be tailored for the use by an employee in an organization. Thus the name of the main product NPC is an acronym for Non-Personal Computing. It dealt with aspects of employees using company-owned PC computers to the extent beyond the one needed, and sometimes acknowledged by the company (personal non-work related use). Also it focused on providing features and services tailored at MIS managers and IT Directors, which often have to do with limiting permitted use scenarios on the company's hardware.The system was an Ubuntu Linux based customized virtual machine network where any employee could login on any dedicated terminal (Screen+keyboard+mouse) and work with access to software spread on various operating systems and based on customized provisioning.
