I provide strategy, guidance, and fund-raising support for a family run Community Interest Company. Free 2 Talk tackle the problems faced by the most disadvantaged young people in my home town, Northampton.In August 2018 I supported their successful joint bid with Northampton Borough Council to deliver the Home Office's 'Trusted Relationships' pilot, worth circa £800K. We were one of only 11 programmes awarded nationally from over 100 Local Authority-led applications.

My recent clients have been from the emerging Healthtech sector that provide innovative technical solutions to change patient behaviour and the way they transact care. The aim to help Primary care manage demand whilst improving patient access and outcomes. These have included algorithm-based applications focused on online GP Consultations and MSK conditions.

Becoming joint-lead for our Healthcare Team, alongside my colleague Bruce we established ourselves as the 'Go-to' option to secure NHS Healthcare contracts - delivering circa 150 bids a year and securing over 80% across the team.As one of the senior members of the team I was involved in developing business plans, identifying growth opportunities and new ways of working. My approach was always to research and learn, it is critical to stay current with Commissioning Agenda and the thinking of leading industry bodies. Domain understanding enabled me to consult with clients, work through strategy, delivery models and lead them successfully through the bidding process.I'm proud of my career and what we achieved at Tenders-UK. When I started we had 4 staff, when I left we had 26. We had built the business from approx £500K turnover to approx £2M. For my part, I brought in and delivered over £1M of revenue from my clients.
