People tell me I’m a doer. What they mean, is that I dig right in, size up the intended audience and get working on a solution. Something that will resonate. Something that will motivate. Yes, I’m an art director, so visuals are certainly a big part of it. But more important, I’m an ad person, who traffics in ideas and overall impressions and messages. I’ve been doing it for over 20 years, at a number of advertising agencies for a range of clients, both B2C and B2B, Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 brands. Yes, lots of experience. And enough experience to know you can’t rest on it. Yes, traditional media but also digital media, channeled through multi-channel experiences. A few of the brands – GE Healthcare, Johnson Controls, Dow AgroSciences, Generac, McKesson, Wausau Insurance, Dremel, GNC, Sub-Zero and Kohler Company. And, thank you peers, a few national and international creative recognitions, including Communication Arts, New York Art Directors Annual, Lurzer’s Archive, Adweek and Advertising Age. My skill set includes creative direction, design, concepts, strategic planning, integrated media, brand development, photo, illustration and digital, regional, national and global. And always a total willingness to listen, learn and quickly get to work.
