Fire Chief of progressive Fire/EMS agency in Northern AZ surrounded by the beautiful red rocks. Approximately 75 professional emergency service providers plus a first class adminstrative staff, built a fire statoin to bring us to 5 stations responding to nearly 4,000 incidents annually. Incidents include providing ALS transports, inter-facility transports, fire suppression, technical rescue, swift water rescue, wildland firefighting, and fire prevention for the District. Additionally we provided primary PSAP dispatch services as a fire based agency for 1,900 square miles. Responsible for the oversight and adminstration of all district operations- finance, human resources, capital planning, team building and community relations for a challenging community given the level of international tourism.

Worked through ther ranks serving as Firefighter/Paramedic all the way through Deputy Chief- Operations. Was responsible for the responding on EMS and Fire emergencies to coordinating all public education activities. Promoted to lieutenant, captain, assistant chief and deputy chief through my career. Responded to multi-alarm incidents throughout Northern IL serving in operational and command roles. Additionally, responded to a tornado in Utica, IL and to other significant emergencies as a specialized response team member on the dive and high angle rescue teams. Recognized with the 100 Club Meritoriuos award, MABAS Humanitarian award and the IFSA Wayne Leucht Memorial award during my career.
