Concordance is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing reincarceration through a demonstrably successful, holistic, integrated program. The program includes vocational training and employment for participants.

I design and teach and culture courses for corporate relocation clients. In this position, I deliver live remote classes for displaced and relocated people.

I teach communications courses for American Public University and American Military University. In this position, I deliver recorded video lectures and live one-on-one video office hours. I teach courses in public speaking, social media, and communications principles. I am responsible for student instruction, feedback, and assessment. The course is managed using Canvas LMS. This is a part-time position.

I managed more than $10M in healthcare account revenue for the Martti product. I consistently exceeded sales goals in this role. I successfully negotiated contracts valued at more than $50M. I also grew a book of business by more than 80% during my tenure – including 45% growth of existing accounts over the past year. The Irish Apostolate USA is a grant-funded nonprofit organization providing holistic support to immigrants to the United States. The organization is funded by the Irish government Department of Foreign Affairs and the Irish Episcopal Council for Emigrants. As the National Coordinator, I was responsible for leadership, oversight, and coordination of all IAUSA activities conducted in collaboration with six Irish Immigration Pastoral Centers across the U.S. This included finance and grant writing and administration, team building and leadership, volunteer recruitment and coordination, community mobilization, strategic planning, Capitol Hill advocacy and government relations.

Alcansa is a humanitarian aid organization conducting international community outreach and mobilization. This organization shared resources with other organizations I was leading. As the Director, I led and supervised the leadership team responsible for training, sending, and administration of sustainable aid and missions work in 18 countries. Under my direction, the organization operated projects in Central Asia, The Middle East, East Asia, Africa and Central America. Selected Accomplishments:● Implemented an international outreach strategy that includes short and long-term sending of aid workers to international project areas including Turkey, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, China and Mexico. Through this strategy, the organization conducted more than sixty international short-term projects in support of dozens of long-term field operations including the construction of public elementary schools in rural areas of China.● Developed a support structure within the community through partnership development, marketing and communication strategies.● Designed and launched a training internship program. This 12-month, full-time residential program prepares workers for international and cross-cultural outreach. The program trained 10 to 15 participants each year.

I taught live conversational English and Spanish courses for Rosetta Stone. I also edited and developed curriculum materials and lesson plans for corporate and individual clients.

I led the establishment and administration of this faith-based cross-cultural ministry training school in Mexico. I also led a team that developed the curriculum and administrative processes for the school and I taught regularly on-site and online.This was a volunteer position.

I was a part-time online high-school Spanish and English instructor for Eagle Christian School. I am responsible for instruction and evaluation of students. Classes were delivered asynchronously online via the school’s portal. The school is no longer offering online courses.

I was a part-time middle-school Spanish instructor for New Hanover Christian School in Richmond, VA. In this role, I was responsible for curriculum development and instruction. Under my direction, student assessments in Spanish learning showed significant improvement. As a result of the curriculum and instruction changes I implemented, the school gained a reputation for excellence in Spanish language learning. I left this position in order to pursue university level teaching positions. The school has since changed to a preschool only.

I provided therapeutic support, guidance and behavior modeling for youth. Cases are referred to the agency through the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families. In this position, working in conjunction with biological families, foster families, state agencies and the client, I developed treatment plans and therapeutic goals to be accomplished over a pre-determined period. I have approximately 2,500 hours of experience as a therapeutic provider.

I led group counseling sessions, conducting individual counseling, conducted intake assessments and interviews, wrote treatment plans, developed group curriculum, and conducted administrative duties related to charting, medical records and insurance billing. I also developed a database and spreadsheet application that allowed for electronic tracking and retrieval of group counseling curriculum materials.

As a Project Manager for this high-volume printed circuit-board manufacturer, I coordinated and managed manufacturing and logistic projects and contracts for foreign and domestic customers. I was responsible for leadership of sales, contract negotiations, logistics management, business development, and some technical service. In this role, I was responsible for applying industry standard best-practices for quality assurance and project management. This company closed all domestic operations in October 2004. I consistently exceeded sales goals through relationship development and a regular cadence of data reporting.

I taught English as a Foreign Language to 6 groups per school year for 3 years. I adapted a curriculum and implemented contemporary teaching method and strategies for foreign language learning through immersion, total physical response and dialogue. These additions to the curriculum yielded very positive results.
