Technologies in place were using non secure methods of data access and non efficient practices.  Our team refactored the website for better reuse, reliability and more secure transactions.Enabled secure payment processing and order placement via customer facing web site. Customer was a check printing company, so SSL and a series of data encryption mechanisms were needed to ensure data integrity and customer security.

Responsible for new development and maintenance on internal order management system. Handled new development on internal company intranet and Internet websites. Developed and deployed new applications on the company intranet using Classic ASP and SQL Server. These included a project tracking database, contact information database, software licensing database, and several reporting applications. Developed an ISAPI Filter for Microsoft’s ISA Server. The filter was developed in Visual C++ using MFC. This project was initiated by our HR Department in an effort to remind users that they were using company resources to browse the Internet. The filter's job was to provide a mechanism to do this. When a user opens a browser and hits the Internet, the filter intercepts the user request, and inserts a JavaScript pop-up that will appear informing the user that they have left the intranet and are now on the intranet and that they must adhere to the company’s code of conduct. If a user closes this pop-up window, the next page they surf to, it will reappear.
