Meet with field crews to discuss outage needs and submit outage requests as needed to meet their requirements. Meet with Operating Planning staff to ensure outage conflicts are mitigated and project timelines can be met while system stability and loading limits are maintained. Develop or assist with development of contingency plans as needed, suggest and present alternative methods of accomplishing work to minimize system impact while completing project tasks on schedule.

Commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting of SCADA control and communication systems at transformer stations. Switching at high voltage stations, 24hr response to disturbances and alarms in stations. High voltage testing of cables, and testing of instrumentation transformers. Coordinating and leading work groups during capital projects and system upgrading to ensure project is completed as designed and on time. Leading P&C crew as P&C supervisor for extended rotation and P&C specialist for a technical rotation.
